Challenge: Outdoor enthusiasts sought trustworthy gear recommendations for their winter adventures, backed by both authentic storytelling and rigorous testing. They needed a resource that not only provided expert insights but also captured the excitement and diversity of winter sports, from skiing and snowboarding to trail exploration.
Outcome: To meet this need, a comprehensive gear guide was developed, celebrating the full spectrum of winter activities while catering to the specific requirements of skiers, snowboarders, and outdoor explorers. The guide combined in-depth product testing with engaging narratives, ensuring credibility and relatability. To enhance visual appeal and align with modern design trends, dynamic gradients were incorporated, adding depth and vibrancy to the layouts. This approach not only strengthened the storytelling aspect but also created a more immersive and visually compelling experience for readers.

Goal: Outside aimed to establish a cohesive brand identity that aligned its diverse portfolio with a tech-driven, 360-degree experience. Enhancing its paid media strategy was also crucial to boosting engagement and driving membership growth.
Solution: Developed comprehensive brand standards and design guidelines to create consistency across all touchpoints while maintaining each brand’s unique identity. Designed a diverse range of creative assets—including static visuals, animated GIFs, reels, and banner ads—strategically crafted to engage target audiences and reinforce Outside’s presence across digital and social platforms.
Outcome: A cohesive brand strategy strengthened market positioning and enhanced consumer engagement. Memberships surged to nearly 1 million, customer service inquiries declined, and 110 unique ad creatives maximized reach, amplifying Outside’s presence across multiple channels.

Goal: Create a compelling visual identity for the Memorial Day Sales promotion to drive audience conversion and increase platform membership.
Solution: Designed and developed a cohesive visual identity for the 8-day flash sale campaign, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand experience. The campaign included 48 targeted ads across Outside channels, along with 9 curated emails and 6 boilerplates to maximize outreach and impact.

Outside x Amazon Audible | Map My Fitness Challenge
Goal: Drive engagement and participation in the Map My Fitness Challenge by creating compelling visuals and branding assets that highlight the partnership with Audible, motivating users to stay active while enjoying audiobooks.
Solution: Developed a suite of dynamic, platform-specific assets to maximize visibility and engagement across multiple touchpoints. This included Hero Creative, Badges for Completion, Inbox Notifications, Newsletter Inclusion, iOS In-App Creative, and Google App Promo. Each visual element reinforced the synergy between fitness and storytelling, showcasing how users could enhance their workouts with Audible’s immersive audio content.
